Water-Based Coatings for the Paper Industry

History

Progressive Ink Company purchased Flexo Graphics, a west coast based ink and coatings company in 1993. Flexo Graphics operated the Shreveport plant primarily as a white coating facility. Progressive Ink Company was purchased by Alper Holdings in April 1996. Excluded from this sale was the coatings division. Since that time, our strategy has been to move from commodity items (white coatings) to niche markets such as functional coatings and introduce innovative products to the markets we serve. Our strategy going forward is to continue building Progressive Coatings through the invention of new products, maintaining high quality of products we sell, and servicing our customers with highly qualified people.
